This story takes place between Escape of MI and the MI5, if it will ever come out. It's before Tales, so Lechuck is dead and Guybrush is a hero.

Chapter 1: Wally, Mighty Cartographer

Wally B. Feed, after leaving LeChuck's demoniac piracy, returns to his native island, Scabb and his old job of cartographer. Without Threepwood bothering and stealing him things (I'm still looking for my monocle), and without Largo LaGrande impeding the exit of the island, Wally can investigate fearlessly across the Caribbean.

When he starts to work again, a rumor about a mysterious island reaches Wally's little ears. It's a small island, lost in the vastness of the sea, which appears every Monday (I hate Mondays!) and disappears the next day. Supposedly, this island is hiding something: a treasure, a document, a map, something secret. No one knows what that thing is, but it's something very important. It is a quicksand island, and those who went to explore the island or search the treasure never returned. (I have no fear)

Since his experience with LeChuck, Wally is no longer a little wimp. He's stronger, has no fears and you can say he's a little more piratical (arr!), although he's still a simple cartographer.  And as a good one, he wants to know about even the most remote corners of the Caribbean, and he decides to gather more information about the island, being sure of what to do. That island seems a dangerous one.

The young cartographer, after summarizing the date he already has, wants to go to other islands, an island where he can find people to help him. But first, he must get a ship, so Wally goes at the other end of the island to visit his old friend Captain Dread. (Friend? He was a Rasta that listened to Bob Marley and did drugs…)

The poor Dread has still the same miserable ship, The Jolly Rasta, and many people need it, so he sends Wally lots of things to do. If he does them all he may have the ship. Dread has a new rule when someone wants his ship: he needs information about that person. So asks Wally for: something of his work, something with his name, something of his friends, something of his body and some of his clothes. And besides, the ship-house is broken so Dread needs some wood pieces. (I thought he was also going to ask me for my soul)

HISTORIAS DE MONOS
Capítulo 1: Wally, Gran Cartográfo

Wally B. Feed, luego de dejar la piratería demoníaca de LeChuck, vuelve a su isla natal, Scabb, y a su antiguo trabajo de cartógrafo. Sin que Threepwood lo moleste y le robe cosas (hijo de su madre, sigo buscando mi monóculo), y sin Largo LaGrande impidiendo la salida de la isla, Wally puede investigar por todo el Caribe sin miedo.

Al empezar a trabajar de nuevo, llega a los pequeños oídos de Wally un rumor sobre una isla pequeña, perdida en la inmensidad del mar, que aparece todos los lunes (¡odio los lunes!) y desaparece los martes. Supuestamente, esa isla esconde algo: ¿un tesoro? ¿Un documento? ¿Un mapa? ¿Algo secreto? No se sabe qué, pero es algo muy importante. Es una isla de arenas movedizas, y los que fueron a buscar el tesoro o a explorar a esa isla nunca más volvieron. (No tengo miedo)

Desde la experiencia con LeChuck, Wally ya no es el pequeño debilucho. Ahora tiene un carácter más fuerte y hasta piratesco se podría decir (arr!), aunque sigue con su trabajo, como siempre, y como buen cartógrafo, quiere saber cosas de los rincones más remotos del Caribe, y decide recabar más información y conocer la isla (cavar tesoros – recabar información. ¿Entienden? Jajaja), sabiendo qué hacer, por supuesto. Wally quiere estar seguro de todo lo que hace.

Luego de resumir los datos, el joven cartógrafo decide partir a otras islas donde sabe que alguien podrá ayudarlo. Pero primero, tiene que conseguir un barco, así que habla con el Capitán Dread, su viejo amigo. (¿Amigo? Era un rasta de mierda que escuchaba Bob Marley y se drogaba)

El pobre Dread sigue teniendo tan solo un miserable barco, y mucha gente lo necesita, así que le encarga a Wally varias misiones. Si las cumple todas, podrá tenerlo. Dread tiene una nueva política: necesita cosas de la persona, información. Así que le pide a Wally: algo de su trabajo,  algo con su nombre,  algo de sus hobbies, algo del cuerpo y algo de su ropa. Y además, el barco-casa está roto, así que Dread necesita algunas piezas de madera. (Pensé que me iba a pedir mi alma también…)
